Perimeter security systems or firewalls protect you from unwanted
intruders, such as viruses. This concept works as a border guard
to monitor every connection that moves through it continuously.
Perimeter security also implements the policies of the organization,
such as what to connect, where to connect, how to connect, and
who can connect. An organization cannot manage data entering
or partitioning (?) of its networks without the help of such
a firewall.
